Hello from a Betis fan from East Sussex, looks like a tricky game tonight - a draw would be a very decent result, and set it up nicely for the return leg. Come on Betis!

1-0 down, Falcao

2-0.

Let me hugely defeatist: Atletico are too strong, much too strong, to allow a 2-0 aggregate lead to fall away against Betis.

We're shaken. We're making passes that make little sense. We're sprinting when we should be slowing down and showing composure. We're matching the pace of Atleti when we retrieve the ball and this only suits the home side. We'll see, but so far not so good.

Four shots within four seconds for Betis, but somehow Atletico survive.

Dorado's shot/cross is almost knocked in by Ruben Castro. So close. Still 2-0. Almost half-time.

Listening to this on the radio. A half time team talk needed ! Somehow we've got to stay in the tie; a goal back or keep it at 2-0 and it's not over but Atletico obviously a very strong side.

Second half underway - sounds more positive..!

Still two-down after an hour but Betis aren't playing at all badly. Molina has just missed the best chance of the game.

Sounds as though Betis are having a lot of the play, Joel Campbell threatening, but Atletico defending their lead and looking to break ? Cañas on as sub. "Un gol cambia todo". Come on Betis !

2-0 final score. Hey could be worse, we're still in it !

Shame we didn't get an away goal.
